Midway through the school year a large number of events have transpired with many more opportunities to come.
What began as a fun and interesting way to answer a call for help from the community has turned into a program of pride and a way to incorporate math, science, reading, and the arts into a way to solve a real life problem.
In this monthâ€™s column weâ€™ll give an update on the EXCEL project, progress towards selling the old high school, and discuss various happenings around the district.

Over at the Beacon, NY discussion board, folks are discussing today’s editorial in the Poughkeepsie Journal about the shellacking (sp?) school budgets took in yesterday’s elections.
