In their editorial today The Poughkeepsie Journal has gotten behind Fred Antalek as their choice for Mayor of the City of Beacon.
While acknowledging that both candidates believe that the City’s new Comprehensive Master Plan is an important step forward in Beacon’s growth, the Journal indicated that Steve Gold’s job at the Dutchess County Board of Elections may interfere with his ability to be a hands-on Mayor in the City of Beacon.
